And Hag aren't great duelist. They are spellcaster. They may do a lot of damage, but low moral, MD and MA make them easy to hit and dodge and route. And they are large, making them an even bigger target.
You can barely cycle charge them in melee because of the low leadership
Army comp for other lords is all up to your personal preference. I do prefer thematic armies for flavour and RP reasons, but orc and goblin armies are ok as well. Savage orcs are still good when you can charge, just be advised all melee gets weaker on higher battle difficulties.
Wurzag's unique scrap upgrade on paper is really good, problem I found is that I always try to be on attack, and can easily cheese ammunition on single entities. Seems to be the best investment on your melee infantry though, especially if you don't try to cheese the AI. Archers should get reload, cav situational, but I prefer the armour/speed one. With 2 strider banners and upgrades they had 100 speed.
Wurzag is in my opinion the best caster there is. Using normal Foot of Gork with him can yield better results than overcharged Wind of Death for vampires. It's ridiculously cheap for him, I think it was 5-6 magic on a 26 sec cooldown? VS 3 stacks of TK I got 1500 kills on Wurzag casting only that spell. Savage Big Uns can deal with lords and whatever survives, especially that his magic attack for army now removed magic resistances, meaning you can ignore any physical/magical resistances.
Savage Orc Boar Boy Big'Uns are great, however, and you should use them in any army where you get the Riderz skill on the Lord.
Savage Orc Big'Uns are also decent, but never as good as just getting Stone Trolls or Black Orcs.
Even the regular Big'Uns can do their job just fine.
Well goblin big boss actually make decent duellist especialy once you unlock the "slippery" skill.
Lore wise it make sense to sent a crazy gobo lieutnant to kill/stab your ennemy from behind rather than having a bigger/stronger orc than you doing your fighting. Because in this case the bigger orc will probably try to kill you to become chieftain himself.
Orc meritocracy and all that...
