Does a lord/hero's leadership have any affect on his or her aura?

Some lord and heroes have abilities to increase their leadership, which I assumed only improved their personal leadership, but some of the tooltips seem to imply that it helps their aura as well. For instance, the "Conviction" trait says "Such is this one's conviction that others have no choice but to believe". Made me curious if their personal leadership improved the aura leadership.

their own leadership wont affect how much leader ship their aura provide... there is of course ways and skills that increase how much leadership their aura will give and even increase the size of the aura.

if your are in the campaing you can go to the lord/hero skill tap and on the left side you gonna see "battle effects" right there you can find buffs and effect your lord provide in the battlefield including how much leadership your lord/hero provides.
