A.) The events of Dread Fleet the book went down as it did but Noctilus was resurrected at a later point (something similar happened to Mannfred) and Aranessa somehow got back to Sartosa and built a new Swordfysh
B.) Things went down differently, Roth still died but maybe he was able to cause a lot of damage to the Dreadfleet, Aranessa survived and got away, maybe or not Yrellan as well survived if Aranessa's diplomacy dialogue with High Elves is anything to go by.
Though you might still want to use Undead units for the final battle. It's stupid as all hell.
It´s kind of overpowered, so might want to raise the difficulty a bit, but other´n that, great fun!
Yes, it's quite wacky. But you hyper nerf your final battle effectiveness, so there's that as well. Probably it evens out.
Enjoy the mod, it's really fun.
(you can also go for C and just say that only Jaego's ship sunk. Bigger lines of texts got retconned. ;) )
