Is Norsca bugged bad?
They no longer have a movement requirement for the encampment stance. The tooltip for it says -25% movement required which makes the faction really OP and kinda kills the fun of norsca. There is also the fact that all their heroes now have Chaos faction traits. Now you can get your mammoth stack to have over 115 attack. As cool as that is they also gave their non legendary lords Chaos skill trees which don't work at all for the faction. What the hell am I going to do with three points in Horde Growth? Along with host of other gameplay issues (the winds of magic gamble mechanic being busted) it really seems like CA did very little testing before releasing this patch.

I have seen a few bugs myself, nothing major, but it does seem like quite a few got through QA. If only they were able to give the game out to a few people before release, then those people could have reported bugs.......oh wait. All those "youtubers" who got early access and none of them reported anything?

In either case, the bugs I've personally come across have been minor so it's not too big a deal, but the least they could have done is made a statement on Friday about a hotfix. Again, I don't believe for a second that they were ignorant of these bugs.

For the raiding camp not costing movement anymore, they probably forgot to update the tooltip for Norsca.

In the patch notes it's written:
"All factions
Raiding Camp stance no longer requires movement points to enter."

I just completed a playthrough with greenskins and I must say I love the fact that raiding camp doesn't cost 25% movement. However, I imagine this can be very annoying when it's the AI using it if you want to catch them. Maybe reducing the cost to 10 or 15% would have been better than removing the cost entirely.

Yeah, norsca is bugged as hell now. It funny how CA broke faction, which they even didnt touch.

What is "bugged"?

Edit: Because all I ever wanted for Chaos and Norsca was in fact 0% stance camps. They always felt way too passive, and having this for Norsca seems like a needed upgrade, not in any way a loss or bug. Especially if the patch notes even mention this, lol. Just like Norsca getting the WH2 traits treatment - finally.

What is the point of raiding stance now if raiding camp requires no movement? Raiding camp gives you no penalty but imparts all the same benefits. Why ever take an army out of raiding camp stance now? And if that's the case, just reduce the upkeep of all Norsca units by 20% and be done with it. This change makes no sense.

I feel like they didn't think this through very well, but whatever. They haven't given a crap about the chaos factions before, so I'm not surprised they overlooked these issues.

Neither of these are bugs.
It is intentional that Raiding doesn't cost movement. This brings Norsca in line with other raiding dependent factions.
The Chaos faction traits is also intentional. Norsca traits haven't been updated since game 1, so now they have. That a bunch of hilariously dumb traits got through is just bad QA. There's a mod that's better anyway.

what is the point of raiding stance then? Why not remove that?

Also Norsca Lords having access to mammoths and the unique god favors were the best thing about them. A norsca lord on a mammoth with Nurgle's regen buff was absolutely killer. That alone seems like a pretty big nerf to the faction.

I did not realize that. So they just need to remove the raiding stance then. Why have that? Does it provide more gold?

In my recent campaign , the fay enchantress is only moving 50% and raiding me. Atleast theres one race with some honor.

I guess they just didn't bother taking a look at Norsca yet since even the tooltip hasn't been updated, the stance will probably be removed in a future patch.

Chaos does not have 'Raiding' camp, so does not get the benefits that Norsca and orcs get. Too bad, chaos really needed that too.

I wish it was only Norsca. This update is bug ridden.
