Is Goblintide not supposed to affect Night Goblins?
Seems like an oversight to me unless i'm having issues. Anyone else that can confirm this for Grom?

Its just for normal goblins and not night goblins. The other goblin lord is more night goblin focused so I assume they didn't want to take that away form him.

Thats a bummer. You want to migrate away from the base goblins eventually and night goblins are so squishy without the buffs. comparively

It's probably intentional but I personally doubt it would be too game breaking if they merge goblintide and betta nigh sneakin. Adding +6 melee attack to night goblins and +20% charge bonus to night goblins to goblin tide wouldn't be that bad I think.

its not that its gamebreaking, its that it takes away some of skarsniks flair

Pretty much. Between his buffs, the new research and the food, my baseline gobbos are taking on dwarf warriors and winning on VH, it's hilarious and awesome fun. Gobbo armies far more viable than they used to be. Like you need to stack on stuff to make them really good but that fits with the orciness way of building up momentum that I like.

Which to be fair makes a lot of sense. Night gobbos and general gobbos are two different groups, which is why the distinction is always made in both abilities and in the lore.
Grom's tribe is normal gobbos so that's who he has the affinity for, makes sense, plus I think it drives you to mix and match normal gobbos with orcs a lot more for his armies which gives it its own appropriate thematic flair.
Yep, with Grom I has goblins with 40+ melee defence, 50 + melee attack and 72 armour with a bonus vs large. My gobbos were beating up foot squires with ease and giving wildwood rangers a hard time and crumping wardancers. I took all of athel loren with a front line of goblins, 2 archers and 3 trolls with assorted misc units for backup. Gobbos are the new black orcs.

ye so far it seems to be (loosely):

skarsnik - night gobbo's and squig carnage
grom - normal gobbo's and pump wagon carnage
azhag - general all round orcyness
grimgor - black orcs
wurrzag - savage orcs and cav

I'm just bored with them now because part of the progression is switching out units.

Regular Goblins with Regen, Frenzy, and Armor piercing mulch through most troops.

Goblins Archers with AP, regen, and Ani-infantry or AoE arrow mow through everyone.

Night Goblins are a huge downgrade as they can't get AP like the regular ones.

Groms high Tier troops are his unbreakable Trolls With AoE Debuffs.
