Incendiary is 40 influence. You can't get it at the start.
Considering you'll fight with him and he'll probably be exposed in the air quite often as your mage, I would advocate for the 10% missile resist btw.

For information before this patch is WAS possible, but it was also possible to get 0 influence traits as well (so negative traits). They changed it for just 15 influence traits instead. The version the content creators showed us was already like that afaik. It may have been different in a version they had before NDA ended though.
