short campaign vicotry versus long campaign victory

Hey, guys!
I am trying to get an answer to a queation that bugs me before the patch roles around and everyone talks about it.... ^^

Maybe a bit of a stupid question but what do you "get" for short and long campaign victories?
I mean: Do you get a cutscene unlocked for ending a campaign? And if so do you get an additional one for doing a long campaign?

I am currently getting a bit tired of my first campaign in this game ever and also, with almost 200 hours in and 15 factions to play i would take forever to do even a short campaign with all of them only once so i am trying to get more timeefficient with this game. XD

Only vortex gets cutscenes I believe.

In the Vortex campaing you get a cutscene after finishing the vortex objective and after short victory. Long victory is just there to tell you what do to after its really only a suggestion, some factions have there something special for example beastman have there to raid 20k gold in total and raze 40 cities for a long victory. You get a little window saying yeeey you win and achvievment for completing the faction campaing and you can continue to paint the map if you want.
It really depends on you if you want to continue or not If you are not having fun in your campaing try to download some mods and try other faction you can always return just save last save of your campain into cloud so you wont lose it and done.

After some time campaings can become stale and easy, I suggest you to download SFO mod and up the difficulty to have some fun or download mods which you like, I like mods which limit how much units of certain type I can recruit so I cant just spam one OP unit but I have to mix and match. It makes you learn the game faster. Also head to head campaing is fun as your opponent can take control of enemy AI and you play against each other it also makes campaing verry internesting.

first time you get an achievement or two. also 2 more hours of playtime in nerd heaven but thats unofficial

173 hours but its my very first campaign. Imma read stuff and pause battles and ♥♥♥♥. Turn 193. That might give you a better idea of where i am at. ^^

Only difference is, for the Short Campaign Victory you just get the end status screen while for the Long Campaign Victory you get a small flavor text picture before it.

Thats ALL the difference, at least in Mortal Empires.

I've checked all the boxes for Long Campaign but it won't give me a "Victory" or any sign that I've actually won. Don't want to keep doing this forever.......

54* ^^ As i said: it was my first campaign where i read everything the game gave me to read. Also this includes afk-time and surely a lot of it. I usually dont leave the game when cooking, for example and it sometimes occured that i would fall asleep for hours while the game is still running. So take the time per turn with a huge pile of salt.

I do , but its amazing to visualize someone sends his one banner over there and re thinking his strategy for an hour , every time :)

hell i have never finish a long or short campain in ME but for the Chaos Factions mainly because for all other but betaion and WE the goal are just too much for me if the game not over my turn 150 i start geting bored by it.
