Help for Dreadfleet Campaign (Mortal Empires)
So as the title implies I could need a bit of help.
It's my first time playing as the Dreadfleet and a undead faction at all so I have 2 questions that have to do with the campaign.

1. Raise the Dead:

I've seen some gameplay videos about this mechanic and most of the time people can choose to raise the dead from a giant unit pool, but everytime I try to do this i can only choose between: Zombie Pirate Deckhands Mob, Zombie Pirate Gunnery Mob, Zombie Pirate Gunnery Mob (Handguns) and the Bloated Corpse.
Do I need a special building or something researched to have a bigger variety?

2. Chaos Invasion:

Like in every Mortal Empires campaign at some point the Chaos Invasion will start and the Puppets of Chaos will spawn near the Vampire Coast.
My problem with that is, everytime I fight them off and destroy their armies the faction will respawn with again 5 Chaos full stacks and its getting a bit annoying trying to destroy the Lizardmen on one side while defending against a respawning Chaos Invasion on the other side.
Is this a bug or why are they respawning that frequently?
It's the first time that this happens to me.

Would appreciate some help with thos questions.
Thanks in advance

Chaos Invasion has some really weird and unintutive mechanics. There's video's on youtube talking about it.

Raise Dead works best when you are in a province where a REALLY big battle happened recently, there's these little fairly unobtrusive blue circles you can see in provinces with a big enough battle. Get in a fight that has 2k+ or so casualties and see what you can with Raise Dead afterwards.

But I had some in my opinion big battles at my province fighting against 3 armies of Hexoatl and it changed nothing. Do the casualties have to be on my side?

did you kill most of the enemy or did they just route? what were the causalties in the report?

Like, if that was three stacks with lots of single entities you probably won't have gotten 2k+ casualties.

the game spawns a battlemarker on the campaign after a big enough battle, those are pretty easy to spot.

whats important about that is, that raise dead is REGION not PROVINCE specific, you have to be in settlement region of the battlemarker to raise from them.

Ah then it makes sense, the armies consisted mostly out of Kroxigors, Carnosaurs and Stegadons and I obviously didn't killed every single one of them.

imo cylostra/the drowned is a much easier start, they are well positioned to make a grand empire. dreadfleet is more for if you want to just plant coves all over the world which while inefficient is a fun and carefree way to play^^

chaos is a ♥♥♥♥♥ if you're not prepared for it. if there's any way to leave a faction alive on the coast to bear the brunt id advice to do so

I have 2 allies at the coast but they can barerly hold the chaos armies back, I use one of my armies to fend them back if they march to deep into my territory but I could use the army at another place way better.
Any idea when they will stop to respawn?

I believe chaos armies continue to respawn until the northern invasion has been destroyed by the Empire/Dwarf/VC/Greenskin folks. Until those main armies are dead the other armies across the map continue to respawn when they're all destroyed. Might be good to kill MOST of them, and wreck one so its weak, but chase it around without killing it?
