Had a coop campaign with a friend recently with me as skaven. You can definitely not establish an under-city under one of your coop-partners cities ... I'm uncertain though what happens if he conquers a city that already has one or if it can spread to one of his cities through one of the buildings ... I very much doubt it though.

Should be possible with normal allies. I'm not sure about co-op allies.

It definitely is possible in singleplayer to establish undercities in allied cities.
I don't know/think that it is possible to do this with your human co-op partner's cities, but AI allies should work fine in multiplayer, too.

I always wondered if this a feature or an oversight, that Skaven undercities can be built under another Skaven-factions settlement.

Wouldn't Skaven know how to prevent undercities being constructed directly under their own territory?

Yes, but that's assuming they don't bribe-stab someone into forgetting to tell-snitch on them.

I don't think they can be established, but they CAN spread to an ally's territory. I was allied to Clan Mors and I had several undercities in their territory from spreading through the building tree.

Except in a multiplayer coop game where you can't, because you can't perform agent actions on your player ally. Computer allies, yes; player allies, no. Full reading of posts helps, dude.

I'd say that they can spread to AI allies, but not to your coop partner.

So in a Co Op Skaven game now. They are Pest I'm Skrye. They took The Sentinel of Time early game. I set an Under city in The Hissing Coast. They Occupied The Hissing Coast. My Under city spread to The Sentinel of Time via Under city Structure Subterranean Pit. This info is valid as of 14OCT2020.

Yeah I do it with my friend all the time. I establish an under city in an enemies settlement, then he takes it over, the under city stays. Then you can just max out things and not worry about it being found since your friend won't destroy it.

Im currently playing as Clan Skryre in a Coop match with a friend (Taurox), and one of my Undercities spread underneath his herdstone, im not sure what happens when you build a Vermintide under it, didnt want to break the game!

You can actually play co-op without playing co-op. Start a multiplayer campaign as non-co-op, and just ally anyway. This allows you to do things like put undercities or pirate coves on your ally's settlements.

And the passive undercity spread should work even in co-op mode.
