How exactly does one cast spells?
I have searched the UI and the discussions board. I cannot find the button or key or whatever to have my hero cast spells.
I thought maybe they would automatically do it like archers but I don't see any casting happening.
I do have spells to cast, just can't see how.

Bottom right corner after selecting a unit that has spells.

Click the spell. Somemspells can be overcasted by double clicking.

Overcast adds something, maybe armout piercing, maybe range, maybe duration, maybe an AOE.

Left click spell right click target. Direct spells you right click the unit (if a buff you can right click the unit card if you want).

AOE spells preview their area, generally a circle but sometimes a < shape

Remember that spell have a casting time, have a chance to fail (and thus causing damage to your wizard), will cause friendly fire damage if aimed into your troops and the casting can be interrupted if the wizard is tossed around by a larger enemy.

In campaign you can only overcast spells you leveld a second time.

"I cast a spell for you to be a good day and I am not a entrepreneur either but I think it is a good idea to be a good day and I am not a fan of the game but horned ones flank and burn."

You type "i cast a spell" and then use predictive text to populate the rest. Reveals how much your phone knows abut your soul.

There's one statement here that's wrong:

[spells] have a chance to fail (and thus causing damage to your wizard)
When a spell miscasts - which in vanilla only overcast spells can (double-click) - your wizard takes damage (think it's a flat 300, IIRC) but the spell still goes off and wrecks havoc on your enemy.

Also, Magic Missile spells are very fussy. Everything else usually works fine when you're in range.
