Question about the Green Knight...
I think you need to hit a certain mile stone in order to summon the Green Knight, but you can only hit that mile stone a few times, so after you maxed out the mile stone you could no longer summon the Green Knight?

You get 4 total summons of him and he last a certain number of turns as a hero. I wanna say 10-15 turns but it's been a minute. But yes once you summon him those four times that's it.

Kinda sucks when compared to other races especially the WH2 bros.

Unfortunately yes, it was like that in WH1. A limited time and limited uses summon.

Look on the upside, the devs may be shaking up that usage with their upcoming revamp of Bretonnia. Failing that, I seem to recall there being a mod somewhere around here that helped to address the limitation. Or maybe it was for the first game? Easy enough to do even for a non-modder like myself.

they should and could easily add a cooldown on the last tier so you can have him unlimited times but only at the last tier. Or increase the number of uses after every tier, or with technology (like after united bretonnia).
I personally have been hoarding his summons in most my campaigns till the chaos invasion.

I really wish green knight was summonable in battles. I don't like the idea of dismissing something from my army to replace it with a temporary unit.

Or even more permenant. I mean cylostra got a permenant ethereal fake paladin while actual brettonia only got etheral hero with an expiry?

Nah, wouldn't fit in the lore if green knight just hanged out with you permanently.

OK, so I found the mod I was thinking of, but the modder has actually gone above and beyond to rework it, so it's changed slightly from its original form. Still, at least your three major capitols can be stupidly well defended now...

EDIT: Plus there are several other mods that either outright buff the Green Knight or make him last forever. Good starts.
