Most annoying AI race to fight against
1) Skaven - Skirmishers galore. Unless you got tons of archers, or a decent amout of cav, it's gonna be a pain to chase.
Add some decent arty to pummel you while you're getting to them, and popping extra units in (I play with no summon degredation..it hurtz)
2) Greenskins. Combat is fine, but the campaign map and actually getting one of their low unit count armies to fight is impossible. Raid. Run away. Raid Run away. Repeat ad nausum
3) Bretonians. Hope your brought 50% extra pikes\anti large :P

What's your most hateful\annoying AI race to play against?

Skaven are annoying to fight, not hard unless the AI has spammed artillery or globadiers, but irritating. In sieges especially.

Beasties. They annoy the f*ck out of me. Playing as Empire right now, my 3 stacks are far away up in the north, fighting Norsca. BM spawning and go on a rampage in my provinces. I've made a fourth stack to stop them, but got my ass wipped, their army is only elite units on gold, led by Level 20 Khazrak.
I encountered a really strong Khazrak stack once in Bretonnia. Even the low level units had really high stats so I assume he had a lot of army buff skills. Took me by surprise as usually beastmen are free XP.

Ya you gotta look at the color of the lvl icon of the Lord. That'll tell you if he's got points in the red skills

I'm suprised so few find Tomb Kings annoying to fight ... I'd choose some ambushing beastmen armies over those endless stacks of tomb guard and constructs coming my way at any given time. WE are a close second though, they are just way to powerful and can screw you over with just a half-full stack

Skaven no ambush, trust trust we no be sneaky at all <.<
as some one who has played 90% of the time as skaven I have to point out that with out out the ambush bonuses or when in direct combat with a well equipt army, even full strength skaven armys will crumble. on that note my method playing as skaven is to have more then one lord travel together one acting as bait well the others ambush.
I HATE HIGH ELF(THINGS)!!! the high elves are the most annoying first of all it says thay prefere to use deplomicy... every group of high elves that i meet declares war on first meeting and they don't fight amoung them selves that much rather they ally and confederate as soon as they can making them a leading power every quickly there island is also annoying to take as there are so many settlements in close proximity most of witch are unihabitable to non-elves as its almost immposible to replenish troops, and even when you do take a city in the uninhabitable one they just retake it. in battle they are annoying as hell to as they have soooo many units with very good range and damage and its also very common for they to have flying units and cavalry making it hard to protect your own range behind you troops to attack effectivly even if they didn't fly over to charge through to kill your artility it does not matter as they out range almost everything so if you leave your troobs in position to guard your artiliry they get slughtered from range witch means you are forced to charge them to have any hope but as it turns out their ranged units are also good melee units that can also hold up to most infintry you also cant focus then down as if you do they well slughter you from range so you end up having to devide your forces so you can draw all of them in to melee and keep them there but either way it does not really matter as unless you are ambushing them and have doomwheels and stormvermin and stuff your going to need more then one army just to kill one of theirs, also they have easy access to the sword of khane or whatever so as i am moveing many armys on to their island to renforce my main forces on the island i have to worry about lone elf thing lords charging in and slighting 3 armys of mostly shealded clanrats, and range support at once not making any differnce weither i fight or use auto cuz if i do fight i end up haveing half my army to routed by the one guy with the sword as they rest are herded by there cavalry as they pelt them with arrows... it also did not help that the 2ed half of the reinforcments with all my range arived super late and had no melee units to defend them, well i must confess though they are rather weak off their island they are still a threat for if you are at war with other groups and have a large empire as they will target your unguarded citys and destroy everything in each city one by one will you can move the reqired forces back to deal with them. fortunetly this time I have been cautious and never left sensitive areas unguarded, also fortunetly and unfortunetly they actuly turned hostile relations and war between myself and druchi in to trusted-friends with a military allience, witch is fortunete as i dont have to fight the massive northern dark elf thing empire as i fight the high elves and the lizerdmen but annoying because if the highelves where not war mongering and attacking us unprovoked i could have pushed much farther in to dark elf lands in the north and subjagated them and used them a training tool for my heros. if they high eveles just left me alone i would have just pushed north and south and left them alone on their undisirable island at lst till i reunited with the other two clans and murdered all dwarves (i have not even met any dwarves yet i just like killing them) instead they forced me in to a grewling war effort to take the island supposidly along side my former dark elf enemies but they dont actuly do anything but fight in naval battles agginist waves of attacking high elves

Very hard ME greenskis campaign. Fought everyone:

1st Wood elves - High lvl Grimgor , Wurzag army + one Ork warboss: Black orks, trolls, archers, some chariots, artillery...
Being completly smashed by Orion + garisson defending one of their main cities.
Foot archers to fast to be catch, wardancers killing most of units without effort, archers cavalry...
Orion immune to morale and extremly killy in melee.
Durthu also gave me hard time.

2nd ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Vlad undeads - Vlad with corpse chariot, one unit of black knights and the rest of black guards.
3 greenskins armies (about 40 units) full of archers and boyz, 2 catapults some trolls and ork cavalry. Easy job... weaken them with artillery as they advance, tie up infantry with boyz, flank them with archers, shoot in the back then get Vlad.
He ended up alone against my 15 units with 15 lvl gobbo spellcaster, lvl 10 goblin hero, lvl9 ork warboss. Lost 3 times in the row.
Insane regen, I shoot him with all archers untill their ammo ended, then charged him with everything.
His morale never dropped below half when he stopped to regenerate I managed to reduce him to 1400hp, then he broke my units and I lost battle.

I agree that the tomb kings have powerful armys but in terms of AI tomb kings being annoying I have to disagree as first of all in terms of campain they are very easy to influince and maintain loyalty as they like great power unlike all other factions witch dislike great power. in terms of battle they are idiots, well they are able to do alot of damage they dont know fear witch makes them fight till the last witch witch in my opionion is a good thing as it means you never have to worry about them surviving a battle and getting away, it makes it very easy to set ambushs near their citys kill them then move on to make their cities with out the reenforcing lords

Tomb king ai is really easy to not have to deal with since they like great power, and they never get very strong armies. They're only annoying at all when you're finishing them off, where if you don't do it quickly they'll have 5 stacks of skeletons backcapping you, although those stacks probably won't be able to beat a walled garrison anyways.

On hard difficulties all the ai factions can build at least a full mid tier stack on one settlement, and it feels like no matter how much you kill there's more. Tomb kings at least are limited to a certain number of armies and units, so there aren't 10 half stacks running past your stuff and 10 full stacks sitting in every border city. Well its more like 5 each but the point is the tomb kings actually have to play by the same rules as the player, whereas other ai don't deal with upkeep increases so they can spam way more stacks than TK.

Beastmen FOR ABSOLUTE SURE IT IS A PEST THAT NEVER GOES AWAY their armies most of the time are ♥♥♥♥ they are however just SO BLOODY annoying to deal with they run away EVERYTIME since all my armies are great and they keep constantly spreading that DAMMED CHAOS CORRUPTION I literally need to place a garrisson in their EXACT spawn locations to always take them out as soon as they spawn in otherwise it is just a tiring endeavour

i have not even seen any beast things for like 200 turns they where spawning around the sandy skeliton things and dark elf things around the start i took advantgae of them to expand with out conflict on the darkelves but they kept getting killed by the sandy bone things after i took over the sandy dead dead thing's stuff they stoped spawning, I am not sure if its the skaven curruption or what but they just stoped spawing.

I find beast men to more useful then annoying as they can be used to steal land from others with out starting conflict, though i am not sure how they even manage to destory AI cities so effectivly as tehy are weak as hell, on that note unless i am trying to use them to expand i wage war on them and swiftly kill them, even if i am playing as another chaos race.
they are both an easy sorce of exp and influence, they are more useful then annoying

Norsca for Early game, but I don't even know why, maybe they are just too aggressive towards expanding or attacking or because they consistantly send endless waves of armies at me or something (playing Brettonia) and probably Vampires late game are pretty annoying to fight, partly because your armies take attrition and stuff to get to them, but they spam & make all wierd stacks with random units, too.
