Queen Bess bug? or am i being stupid
Playing as the dreadfleet, I did the Rite/Ritual thing, and I cannot get the Cannon with the starting lord. Is there some other requirement?

Only one available as it counts as RoR

You have to recruit it from the RoR list. Remember, only one is available. Ever.

yeah I know, I have played this game a fair bit
Did the ritual, and its still greyed out

I believe you have to recruit it from your territory. I had a similar issue when I was playing as Aranessa and did the ritual while sailing around and I couldn't get it but once I went to a region I controlled and encamped I could recruit it.

I couldn't recruit it on the open seas for some reason.

Because in the lore there is literally only one, and from what (little) I know about the lore no one ever made another cannon like the Queen Bess again after it was stripped from it's original ship by the Vampire Pirates.

It's a ROR, so there can only be one.

Also the thought of having 3-4 of them is so terrifying that it'd break the game....

pretty sure the casket of souls was a ROR as well

Lore wise there are multiple caskets of souls in TK Armies.

Also Compared to Queen Beds the Casket of Souls is kinda pathetic.

It's a balancing decision, one shot from big Bess will route/wipe out any units hit
