How do I fix this? First time i've this. I've already did a reinstall and deleted any remnant stuff in the warhammer 2 folder before I reinstalled. Still appearing as an error.

By reinstall you mean resubscribe to the mod?

It might be mod itself that's buggered, you never know.

This is an error message in the launcher, right?

This happens to me quite often.

I just close the launcher via Task-Manager and then restart the game.

The error message always disappears and I can launch the game without further issues.

Reinstalled the entire game, in fact! :( I made sure to clear out the WH folder to be sure hence I reinstalled.

I tried closing the launcher the normal way not by "ending task" or "end process" and it keeps doing the issue.

Would only closing it forcefully in task manager specifically fixes it when it happens to you?

How can we even figure that out:( Im not even able to open the mod manager and cant even see the list of mods before it says corrupted.

Try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mods either way. Might not do anything, since an uninstall and reinstall should also delete and redownload them, but who knows.

Oh, did you clear out the Roaming folder? There's a lot of leftover data in there even after a normal uninstall/reinstall.

It pretty much goes away after closing and reopening the launcher multiple times.

You don't have to use the Task-Manager, every way of closing the launcher works (for me at least).

this was 2 years ago but thanks! This was mainly caused by a new update back then I believe. Might actually have been a new launcher or sorts. I just ended up not playing WH2 for a few months after I posted this and it worked again.

I deleted everything, roaming files, workshop folder, steamapps, the game, etc. and it didnt help back then xD
