Next to no Warp-Fuel in Skryre Campaign
I've heard that one of the best ways to get Warp-Fuel in Skryre campaign is to use your Warlock Engineer to constantly Steal Technology. In this way, you're supposed to get a steady stream of Warp-Fuel, but it's never worked for me in Single or Multiplayer campaigns, with the Steal Technology action, or any other agent action. I don't use too many mods either. When I do, they're smaller mods that I make myself that have nothing to do with warp-fuel mechanics; only altering the stats of certain units such as Eshin Triads or Poison Wind Mortars, so I am 100% certain my mod usage isn't affecting the mechanics of warp-fuel. Without warp-fuel, Skryre campaign is kind of a drag. I'm supposed to be able to grab all these upgrades and build multiple doomrockets, but I can't, because I'm only getting warp-fuel from battles, and even then, it's only a very small amount.

The fuel chances got stealth-nerfed to hell a couple patches ago. The hero action (engis only) went from 30% down to 15%, and battle wins went from 50% down to 30%. I just did an ikit run on ME and had a total of 6 upgrades by the time I took over most of the old world (normally by that time you have at least the weapons team and rocket upgrades done even with bad luck).

Ikit Claw and battles, he can get double with one of his skills.

I first thought I'd have to slow througb to get warp fuel but dam easy if you fight enough battles.

Just declare war on everyone. They'll send armies for you to gobble up :)

Spam-sacking a single settlement with ikit is a good way to get both warp fuel and lord levels

I believe that ikit has a skill that increases the chance of getting warp fuel. And the lab has a perk to recover some (1?) after using a nuke.

Also the early campaign quests give you 10 or so to help you get your stock up. Really helps early game.

hope this helps. maybe youre just getting unlucky? theres so many fights in that campaign, just keep grinding.

Have you by any chance "Community modding framework" enabled, even if you don't use it? - some just have it downloaded and enabled for sake of having it.

It's a known bug, that you can not get additional resources with agent actions - not sure if fixed. (same for HE)
The after-battle stuff is handled differently....but the mod prevents the additional UI thingie, that gives you fuel.

Haven't played Ikit for quite some time, but 'Steal technology' had a 100% chance to get one fuel.
(and I doubt it was changed at all, as there was nothing mentioned in any patch notes IIRC)

edit: a few ppl in tw forum seem to have similar issues - not sure, if it's now a new 'bug'.

scouting ruins worked well, too. So raze & scout & resettle :) lower chance, but can give you more than 1.

4 real? 'twas supposed to give you always 1 on an engineer-settlement action....let it be 80%
I was literally swimming in warp-fuel @turn 90 ...
- usually boosted 4+ agents asap
- raze/scout (gives nifty items as well) + a chance of recovering up to 10 fuel
- the usual attack-stuff

Haven't played Skaven (really! shame on me for that....) for quite some time...but Ikit and/or Snikch is up for ME anyway.

thanks for the warning o_O (but Ikit is straight out powerful nonetheless .. casting doom & destruction with sneaky Doomflayer-upgrade)

That 100% chance was on release and the next patch after instantly nerfed it down.

Oh i c :) THat's why it was so easy .. DLC released, installed .. started Ikit campaign :)

Yeah..that fun...
edit: thanks for the info, though - didn't know that.

Really? That's bogus. I guess I'll look for/create mods that boost the chance up again. My playstyle is super defensive, so I don't fight too many battles until late game.

No mods that boost the % only lowering the cost in workshop
