Useful if your Lord does have an aerial mount too. Specifically a goon squad of two Masters and morathi. Her two skills that combine for a -18 melee attack when in melee is no joke.

Definitely, he's like the HE Noble in that way.

Even the much derided (rightly so) Featherfoe Torc can be useful against an enemy with a lot of aerial.

Indeed. Because of their small hitbox, you can easily Dodge missile fire while drawing single entity flyers away early on. The AI in all its wisdom will sometimes dedicate their two flyers and their Lord to the chase. Bring them into a crossfire of shades and that's a wrap.

He is far better, if he reach lv 10 he get a trait, if you have luck he gets replenish life ore frenzy+ he increase physical res of all nearby heroes and lord. And much better you can really spam those guys as they are easy to get, it is also easy to increase their max. amount.+ they increase your rate of development of your cities.

If you know how to use Charriots they are OP, if you are an absolute mid or a low yeah ok dont use charriots they will just be a waste of resources and army slots then.

But they are far from bad
