It was a trolling comment ;)
You've got to be kidding me. First, infantry models can never compete with those who can use mounts and especially monstrous or monster mounts in terms of raw killing power. Second, getting 62 kills a battle is nothing on a Legendary Lord.
If we're talking characters with everything maxed then Kroq gar easily, hand of the Gods does insane damage and can two shot squished characters, he ofc has massive Anti large AP damage with deadly onslaught to make him do more, he is insanely fast and has a massive charge bonus as well as being a badass
Kroq-Gar: 65%
Tyrion: 57%
Malekith: 40% (this seems very low... thought he had some native physical resist?)
Queek: 30% (poor guy)
For all of them you can gain a further 10% phys by beating Wurrzag. Kroq-Gar, for instance, maxes at 75% compared to only 40% for Queek, so Queek takes more than twice as much damage (60%) as Kroq does (25%) from penetrating physical hits.
I don't know what the equivalent numbers are for WH1 lords, but they're pretty important when working out the strongest lord in campaign, and aren't reflected well in testing conditions.

Thanks for that guide!
I've modded my games to have 60 percent max Ward, so certain Lords do not solo armies or otherwise trivialize the game. But even getting 60 percent is very difficult for non-LLs, and that guide is very helpful.
I did a bit of testing with mounts, plus all abilities and items. Each match up had two rounds, one AI controlled, one human controlled, with full use of abilities as appropriate (which introduces a subjective element, though not a huge one for melee characters). The top five seems to be:
1. Kholek
2. Kroq-Gar
3. Wulfrik
4. Durthu (with no casting)
5. Throgg
I put Throgg up against mounted Tyrion, which confirmed that he beats the most likely candidate from 'normal sized' melee lords, but I didn't test any hybrid characters aside from Durthu.
