Location of offline save files
I was taking a long train ride the other day, and the Wifi was so slow that I chose to just play Steam offline. I played for a couple of hours, saved my game, and now I boot it back up in online mode and it's as if I never played it on the train at all. My save files were gone, or so I thought. I log back in offline, and the save file's still there. I'd like to be able to access the offline save file without having to play the game in offline mode from now until I finish my current campaign. Is there a way to do this? I'm on Windows 10, and was able to find the Appdata directory (Username --> AppData --> Roaming --> TheCreativeAssembly --> Warhammer2 --> save_games), but the only save files I'm seeing there are the most recent autosave, which was approximately an hour before where I'd left off. I can't save offline files to the cloud, even if I'm actually on a connection, so I'm at an impasse until I figure this out.

I tried googling this, but couldn't find any local save locations on Windows 10 that seemed to apply to this game specifically, and Steam, in typical fashion, makes this as difficult as humanly possible. Anyone know where the offline save file location is?

That is extremely, extremely odd. When I've played offline I could then access my save file while online without a problem. Can you maybe try to trigger an autosave in the offline mode save (end the turn or something) and then copy that?
Go figure. I posted this thread because I had tried a few different things, including loading the offline mode again on the current Wifi, then loading online, and nothing. I went just now intending to do what you just suggested, but went into online mode first, and suddenly the save files are all there in online mode, so I guess the issue resolved itself. :| lmao

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it if this happens again.
