Can you play co-op with a friend on the same PC

Me and my friend want to play warhammer 2 co-op, and I was wondering if you had to both have the game to play it, or you could make a campaign on the same pc and both be able to control their own faction.

one of the main features of co-op is that you can battle together with your buddy either by giving each other troops to control for the duration of the battle or just by moving two armies along side each other (which results in very fun combined arms gameplay like empire tanks, jade wizards, mortars and rockets plus dwarven gyrocopters, flamethrowers, thunderers and satchel charge infantry)

obviously you can't control two armies from 1 pc, so yeah, no hotseat
