Gunnery Wight and Mourngul Haunter cap - How do I increase it?
So I thought the "Pirate's Rest" pirate cove building was the only way to increase the cap on these heroes. But as of a couple of days ago, the lines increasing their cap on that building has vanished. I've checked all horde and settlement buildings and nothing increases their caps, only gives ability to recruit.

Anyone know what's going on? I wanted more Gunnery Wights and now I can't get any ;-;

You can build them in the coves afaik

I can build the building but none of the pirate cove buildings increase cap anymore. Not even the ones I'd already built have that line in their effects, despite being the only reason I built them in the first place.

That's strange, should not be the case and I assume either a bug or a modding issue honestly

I just looked again and it seems only the one I built in Zandri has the line about cap increase, but nowhere else. I've got coves in Sartosa, Hag Graef, Tor Anlec and Naggarond and none of them have the lines. Plus, I have no mods :L

You know there are different kinds of coves right?

And some coves are better when in main ports (increase recruit cap of mourngul and gunnery)

The description of Pirate's Rest is bugged, but it still increases the hero cap even if it doesn't say so.

check out the Community Bug FIx Mod on workshop, it fixes many bugs and this might be one such bug.

This is true. Sometimes it won't say it increases the cap. Other times it will say it only increases the cap for Haunters or Gunnery Wights when in reality the building always increases the cap for both. It's a bug in the cove description.

I've tested this on three seperate vanilla VC campaigns now.

Cheers for the comments lads, I've found the discrepancy in the flavour text between major and minor settlements now too. Hopefully it gets fixed soon because that confusion sent me on a maddening crusade xP
