Kroak is by far the most overpowered character in this game, right?

I actually sent Ikit Claw to 1v1 Kroak, and Ikit came out the winner, surprisingly unscathed. Only like 15% HP lost.

He is good to kill craps en masse, and for buffing the army (up to 10% wardsave for whole army is a lot, he starts with 5% on one of his items and get additional 5%. Exspecially if you put him in an army with lots of heroes geared with wardsave items on fat dinos)

Being able to 1v1 is hardly the cap in lord potential.

Under no circumstances 1x1 is the best way to see who is the best, even between Lords or Combat Heroes, the best way is to put them in the middle of a big battle, and see who survives the longest and kills more enemies, the so-called MVP. A wizard with no time to launch his spells, recovers the winds of magic and no troops defending him will lose to almost everything. The function of an LL or LH is not to kill the enemy LL or LH in a 1x1, but to kill as many enemy troops as possible.

Lord Kroak will do nothing aiganst for example a mammoth ore dragon spam, aiganst hordes of clanrat otherwise.
He is very good if you put him in an army with a lots of fat dino riding heroes who are leveled and geared, this will make them unstoppable as fat single moster bloob enemies and take nearly no dmg from Kroaks blast (and of course several high lv wiz increase the magic recovery rate)

What about lords that even suck at killing normal enemies?
For example I personally find Alith Anar to be one one of the most powerful lords I've used so far. Not for how strong he personally is since he's not really anything special in a fight. All he can really do is kill single powerful targets and even than only if he can shoot them. I find him good because of how much of an advantage he gives his army. He can boost his archers to ridiculous levels as well as being able to ambush enemies in his default stance. He can also get like 90% or 100% ambush chance.

What I said was about the most powerful Lord or Hero, able to kill more enemy units in a battle, more decisive in a battle, but only in what he can do personally and not how much he is able to improve the rest of his army.

But to answer your question:
If you by "Overpowered" means awesome and powerful, then yes Kroak is REALLY strong.. And he's supposed to be..

If you by "Overpowered" mean way too strong and badly balanced I'd argue no. It would be a travesty is Lord Kroak was "just another" hero. He is meant to be an absolute powerhouse even in his greatly weakened state of being dead, and I'd say that the game portray that power quite nicely without making the gameplay "unfun" or unfair :)

pls there are plenty legendary lords that can do much more if given long enough time.
Properly used Ikit warp lightning spam can kill same amount if not more during a battle
Snitch if use hit and run can wipe whole armies by himself and kills lords/heroes/single entities just as fast
Setttra on his chariot can mow down just as much infy given time
Kholek fully spec'ed just a-move armies
Tyrion also capable of same if controlled correctly and deals much better with single entities
Kroak is very powerful in wiping out blob of infy, but thats about it. If you say he's the ultimate mage in game then pretty much, but character? That'd have to be a no.

Kroak is most op character in the lore and i think hes in good place in the game

Gor Rok>Kroak, he may not kill as many enemies but that perfect vigor and regen really help to make the enemy blob up for engine of the gods/Dino charges/death from above, even if he somehow gets too hurt you can just send some mass unit to open a path, get him out and let him regen, and lets not even talk about the priest combo.

kroak against thousands of foot infantry in blobs its like ikit claw nukes every 20~30 seconds id say pretty unbeatable if you have the reserves
