Sigvald is ok, cause his unique skill tree buffs are nice. Also he starts with Hellcannon.
Nothing. I use a mix of marauders and Chaos warriors, so i dont get too much negative income, so i can invest into replenishment faster.
After that you just transition and never use marauders.
Marauders have their place in multiplayer though.
I mean there is no recipe. It depends on difficulty too and what your lord builds are.
I prefer building full stack as soon as possible and getting replenishment unlocked as much as possible.
I never go for lightning strike, even when playing horde factions (that is not optimal though, just my preference, cause it becomes trivial after a while if you take it).
I go for burning head with Archaon asap, and for red tree with Sigvald and Kholek.
What is most important with playing horde factions on higher difficulties is having an agent scout ahead, so you dont get jumped by 3 or 4 stacks when you just had big battle. Other than that, WoC is a breeze.
Although investing in horde growth is also a very good choice. But as i ignore blue tree, just 1 point, i get to have stronger army buffs earlier.
Sigvald can become a pretty decent foot lord and duelist.
