Differences between the two campaigns
So I am wondering what the difference between the two campaigns are and I was hoping for some clarification. What changes between the two other than availible playable factions?

Like does the vortex one have more features or is it harder or easier or what?

Vortex has special victory conditions for the races, the base races compete in in the Vortex race (except for Nakai, and Sniktch and Malus), while the DLC races compete for their specific things too (Books of Nagash, and infamy).
ME has the Chaos invasion.
And of course, the size of the map.

If you play coop at all, Vortex also forces you to play the same race as your coop partner. Won't matter to most people but for me that put me off playing it for a long time since I mostly play coop with a friend.

The Eye of Vortex campaign is game 2's main campaign. Its a story driven campaign. For the original races/lords of game 2 its about gaining control of the Vortex (won't spoil any more then that). While the DLC factions (Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings) and some of the DLC lords (The shadow and the blade ones) have their own objectives.

The Mortal Empires campaign is a mega campaign that combines the territory from game 1 and 2, its more of a sandbox experience (It requires game 1 and 2).

So for the Vortex Campaign the map is smaller?

Yes much smaller, mortal empires is just about the entire world

Smaller but the area is much more elaborate. In mortal empires certain areas are cut to fit the rest of the world.

All you do is ritual, enemy spawn and fight them. Long story short the campaign just focus on pressing you instead doing thing freely. While Mortal empire the game offer you freedom to do whatever you want without forcing you to attack other asap like vortex.

Not true. You can do everything freely, and just fight the final battle, which stops their victory conditions, and you are fine . The race is there, but it is optional.

You can win Vortex with standard domination victory which is similar to Mortal empires.

Not to mention, some people actually enjoy having a dynamic or set deadline. It is literally impossible to lose the game by being wiped out, so any other potential way to actually create a sense of stakes and threat is more than welcome

VORTEX

More guided experience with abundance of missions and rewards
Greater expansion opportunities for new world races with more regions per province
larger and more interesting new world map
More focused diplomacy with far greater tribalism between the races affected by the vortex
Campaign is a lot less chaotic, battle lines are clearly drawn and you are under no pressure to rush before the chaos doom waves arrive

Mortal Empires

Access to all races and old world
Old world is updated WH1 map and New world is squished version of vortex map
No real campaign guidance and not much variety in missions
Basically a sandbox

I love playing ME but I have to say the Vortex campaign is a lot more enjoyable when playing the new world races, it's almost like that campaign got a lot more development. My thoughts, if you're going to play a new world race and just stick to the new world you're far better off just playing Vortex and if you want to play an old world race then you really don't have much of a choice. Don't underestimate the Vortex campaign, it's a lot of fun and can be a breath of fresh air if you've spent a while playing ME.

I am running low on memory, can I uninstall Warhammer 1 and still play the mortals campaign on warhammer 2?
