How does Aranessa Saltspite get and control undead zombie units?
As I understand it Arenessa is dispite her heavy mutations still a human and very much alive and undead are controlled through magic by vampires or necromancers, does she work like a necromancer or how does that work?

While lore can be important, it should never take priority over game play. I will be playing Saltspite in vortex first as I personally find her a bit more interesting then multiple personality man, and von carstein on a walking ship. Though I do plan on playin as Luthor in ME at some point.

Her backstory comes from an official magazine and official board game's story. If this is bad, where is the complaints about Grombrindal?
Well that gets to the real root of the problem. Grombindal is cool. Most people think he's cooler than Aranessa is.

For some reason instead of just saying "shes not as cool as other lords", people feel the need to attack something they're obviously perfectly ok with. Cause if you say "she's not interesting" it doesn't make it sound sensational enough. So you have to claim CA is completely destroying Warhammer lore by including her.

If they acknowledge she's only a slight misfit in the lore, then they'd have to acknowledge CA just made something they're not interested in and haven't commited some grave sin.
No one is making the arugment that she shouldn't be in because she is not interesting or "not as cool as other lords" that is heavily straw manning. If you actually read what people are saying people are upset at the implementation of saltspite not the character.

Thats the same thing. I guess I can specify I meant that people are saying CA's implementation of saltspite is not interesting. Not that the character herself before anything CA did is interesting. Is that better? I mean thats what you just wrote so I assume it is right?

Yes thanks for clarifying. As it seemed you were saying people didn't like saltspite as a character.

Does Aranessa crumble when her leadership drops to zero like any necromancer Lord in Vampire Counts? If so I'd just mod her to be a vampire. Problem solved.

Don't worry, for all the hate on Cylostra & Aranessa we've still got two very nice lords of Luthor and Harkon.

Two lords isn't a lot, but hey, that's what you'd get from the Wood Elf DLC back in the day.
Don't you mean "Noctilus and Harkon"? Because "Luthor" and "Harkon" are the same guy - Luthor Harkon. :P

She routs like living units and her Sartosa Free Company.
Curiously Scurvy Dogs don't rout, they crumble.

And what of the Vampires? Do they rout as well? I thought scurvy dogs are undead.

Vampires crumble as usual.

I thought Scurvy Dogs were flesh and blood doggos but I don't pay too much attention to things like that :P

Speaking of that, now that we have armys with crumbling and routing units, would be cool to have vampire, necromancer, ghouls, varghulf etc routing instead of crumbling, as none of them are magical construct.

Though if you ask me, vampires shouldn't crumble. They aren't animated as the zombies. I'm not sure on the doggies either but I think they're animated as well. Resident Evil makes me think that way lmao.

Yes that should be the way it is. Hopefully SFO changes that so that the lore extremists such as myself get to appreciate the authenticity.

Vampires, Ghouls and Varghulf are all undead though, and its Undead that crumble.

No, only creature animated by magic like zombie and skeleton crumble. And ghouls are not even undead, they are living degenerate cannibals humans. And when a vampire see that he will loose a fight, he flee, he don't fall dead on the ground by himself lol (the varghulf being a vampire, it's the same).
