Can vampire pirates confedarate?

I'd love to know that as well. I am leaning towards no, because of the whole spending infamy points on special lords.

The LL/major factions wont be able to confed each other. Unclear if you can confed minors

It kinda makes sense from story point of view, as in why would Noctilus care about Harkons sanity, or Harkon about whatever Noctilus is after, or any other lord. Also, there will be a coast confederate mod for sure just like for tk so what's the problem?

It makes as much sense as every other confederation, you do what I say or I will murder you and everybody you know.

If you do what I say we will grow stronger than we could separated and fighting each other.

That`s right doesn`t make sense all the other Races can also confed the other LL Factions.

The Vamp Coast only cares about getting to the top of the infamy and wealth list. It would not make sense from the list system perspective to confed and I think the feel of the faction is also wrong for confed. Vampire Coast playthrought are about Heroes of Might And Magic trekking around the world, not about staring at the diplo screen, which unmodded is an annoying feature anyway.

Thus far only Warriors of Chaos and Tomb Kings have been without the option, so it is fairly new territory.

All other races can't, though. When lore directly conflicts with two LL's working together, then they end up not being able to confederate in game. Like Settra not being able to confederate Khatep. He banished that jerk.

That's what i'm saying. Vampirates are obviously fighting against each other to see which one is the top dog and gets to rule the seas. There can be only one.

Tomb Kings also just can't confederate, its not just those two who are blocked from doing it. Which I also feel doesn't work that well for the others becides Arkhan and I assumed the main reason for it was because it would provide a way around the army limit for the player.

But with the Vampire Coast I do kinda feel like it would fit to an extent, since one pirate facion could grow to absorbe another once its has proven to be the dominant one. Similar to how it works for Norsca, maybe where you can only confederate once you have beaten the other factions LL in battle or something. Perhpas with the Loyalty mechanic with them breaking off to re-form their own faction if their Loyalty rating gets too low.

Except it wouldn't be "sharing a crown" but a pimp ordering around his bottom ♥♥♥♥♥.

Vampire Admirals are basically Chaotic Evil megalomaniacs. It would take Nagash himself to get them in line, which is what happened in the End Times. The lesser Vampires can work for you but even they are not completely loyal, as we have seen. The Lords will not bow down to anyone. If a Pirate Lord is 100 % selfish and a Vampire Lord is 100 % selfish then a Vampire Admiral is 300 % selfish.

So If got it right there are now Factions that can confed 3 - 5 LL that mostly have some really effective bonuses and are stronger than normal Lords so isn`t it a big weakpoint if a Faction only has one strong lord?

Well it is simply if you cant confedarate...I know there are 2 or maybe 3 lords I wont try cause I prefer that one.
if you can confedarate you can choose what other one you wanna play with.
and I know for a fact I wont ever start with Lurthor and salt.
Same with Tomb kings I tried starting with Khatep and Khalida they are simply not fun to start with for me. but I would enjoy having them for a secondary general.
