They nerfed the strigoi too hard for me to even bother using them now if I don't feel like making a themed army (i.e. not going for the strongest army, but one I think sounds cool). Even necromancers are a better choice power gaming wise. Strigoi are slightly faster and have slightly better health and armor piercing damage, along with faster regeneration than a normal unmounted vampire lord, but suffer everywhere else compared to them making them inferior early to mid game untill they get a terrorgheist, and even then they are just a sidestep to a zombie dragon lord. Necromancers on the other hand may not be as great in combat as they are, but like the vampire lords, they have better magic, and they are better support lords overall due to their late game mounts and their abilities.
