Canceling a hero notification does not work

I put the hero and do not want to move it yet. I switched ON the setting, but the game still moves me to him every turn.

There is no difference. Is it normal? or for what it all?

Should be a list that you can find that allows you to shut off specific notifications. Didn’t see that list in your screenshot. Find it and turn off hero notification and it’ll stop.

Yep, to the immediate right of your turn number, that button will bring up the list of notifications that you can switch on or off.

If this is about the notification switch in the character UI at the bottom, it's for ignoring the filters that the others mentioned. So, if you use that one, it shows you the notification no matter any other setting. If you leave this off and then turn agent/hero notifcations off on the right side of the screen, then you will not have a notification.

Basically you turn notifications for lords/heroes off globally. Then you select a specific lord/hero that you want to be notified about and check the box shown in your screenshot.

This will notify you of that one hero/lord and no others.
