No sexes. No hive mind, though the Slann have some form of telepathic connection to other slann.
Saraus can be thousands of years old and have free will. But have no real personality or critical thinking outside of military situations. Their language is much more crude and consists of 25 sounds that can be strung together to create military orders and rude gestures. When they're spawned its with innate knowledge and the abilities required to fill their specific role and are born with the troop they'll serve with for the rest of their lives who will have the same skills. Cold One Rider, Temple Guard, etc.
Kroxigors speak an even cruder version of Saruian and though they have free will. Are extremely dim witted, their memory and attention span is a couple seconds. They live to take orders from Skinks and serve as the worker caste. They're also spawned with their Skink handlers. For reference Kroxigors when they enter combat have to have their weapons chained to them. Because after the battle is over, they'll completely forget what they were just doing and drop everything.
I legit hope we get an original creation Legendary Lord that is a Kroxigor and a Skink who care deeply for one another and just want to have grand adventures
The Warhammer version is just less violent
They are spawned to preform the task they are designed for.
They have free will but not as humans have.
A good example will be the qun from dragon age.
A soldier will always be a soldier.
They can choice what to do inside there role but they can never change there role.
A lizardman is spawned with a certian purpose.
No soulsearching who it wants to be, no feeling of insignificant, etc.
Are they capeable of defying there programming?
That i dont know.
And if they arent do they truly have free will?
Free will is the ability to make choices.
If you cant make a choice is it still free will?
Now look at lizardman spawning pools as factories.
They follow an pre-programed assambiliy line and build workers, soldiers, researcher's, operators, etc.
There is no ego in lizardman sociaty as all where created to serve the great plan.
And no genders either, they're all adrogynous-masculine leaning.
And they all work for the Slann for the Great Plan, so not really much free will.
They're not clones, that much is obvious, otherwise how would there be unique Lizardmen like Kroq-Gar and Tehenhauin.
And they do have free will, they can go against Slann directive if they think it is a real necessity, such as the Cult of Sotek or Yukkanadoozat.
