Personally, I think they should have, as a faction, a special landmark building that lets them hire Empire Handgunners, and a 'unique' hero unit, a "Vampire Hunter", Which acts like an Empire Witch Hunter crossed with a 40k Commissar, and applies leadership bonuses, and has the ability to pistol execute friendly--and hostile--undead, below a certain leadership score to apply global leadership and combat bonuses.
I think it would make the portion of the community that hates her having undead units feel a lot better if she has an enforcer hero or two holding guns to the back of the heads of the vampiric necromancers, keeping them in line.
It's also worth noting this is a Vampire Coast DLC. This isn't the last faction that will ever be added to the game. This isn't the last patch that will affect the game. This isn't the end of everything. This isn't the end-all of that entire region. Stuff can get moved around, as factions get added, she can get updated. Hell, Lizardmen got a minor mechanic rework this patch. And Skaven got a rework earlier, and are likely getting another one with their DLC.
Now you have an invented lord , lords with zombie and human units and all this for a minor faction while ignoring more major factions just to sell dlc with monsters.
