Says who? I don't think that's a specific weakness WH vampires have.
Also, zombies, skeletons, and assortments of sea creatures aren't exactly vampires. Only the lords are. Also, is that Warhammer lore or general vampire fantasy lore?
Again, where is this written in the Warhammer lore? WH vampires aren't exactly the same as the vampires we have in general folklore.
Doesn't matter. Unless it's specifically stated, WH vampires don't need to share the same weaknesses as the vampires portrayed in general folklore. They're fictional creatures, so they don't have to be exactly the same across all mediums.
It's in WFRP but also notes that not all vampires share the weakness of not being able to cross running water. The same applies to silver, religious symbols and even sunlight.

There is no 'specific' lore for general fantasy creatures. It simply depends on the context.
As thus, warhammer vampires can cross running water
They are just humans that are cursed to agonizing undeath by a corrupted elixir of life by nagash. There is nothing in the Warhammer lore that states they suffer the stereotypical weaknesses from our own worlds mythology vampires.
As taken from the Warhammer Fantasy wiki

tl:dr
Some Warhammer vapires can cross running water.
Not every vampire shares the same weaknesses so yes there are vampires who can be pirate captains on the high seas if they like.
All Vampire’s suffer from the Blood Curse placed upon them by Nagash. The curse places the following six restrictions upon the Vampire. The most common involve the inability to cross running water, the inability to cast a reflection or shadow, the urge to drink blood, vulnerability to sunlight, weakness to certain herbs, and a weakness towards silver. However, as the bloodlines have crossed and become muddied, there is no guarantee that a Vampire has all of these weaknesses and may have others instead. All Vampires must drink blood, but the other weaknesses are not assured.

Waterwalker: Your will is so strong you may overrule the curse on your blood and cross running water with immense effort. This trait is especially well represented amongst Blood Dragons and Strigoi.
