Think of it as a fun fact....
Or a, "The More You Know!"
I kinda learned something here
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/182136.The_Culture_of_Critique
There. Now this is an educational experience for everyone.
Agreed. Wtf is wrong with this thread? Did the idiot creating it have a bunch of racist friends to back him up on this?
Ooof.
LOL ruok?
Raise awareness turns into here is a link to why everyone hates Jews. Had it not been for the accident of your birth (take that however you want) you may have found yourself in this category of people.
Not engaging any more since this seems to be a group of dummies thinking they are edgy and insightful.
Seems that way. School is out for summer?
I mean Skavenblight is their homeland. I suppose it could be considered a Jerusalem but not like any other faction has ever taken it, nor had it been destroyed multiple times etc. Was just a Tilean town before the people got cursed and either the rats mutated into Skaven, or the humans de-evolved into Skaven.
That being said: Skaven are technologically the most advanced faction with only the Dwarves coming close, and even then their hardheaded stubborness to not accept new technologies keeps them back, and they fall further and further behind. So not Jew-like.
They're also the most populated race so I mean.. that's not very Jew-like. Apart from Israel where else are Jew's a majority of any set Population? New York, maybe? There's plenty of other people who live there.
Uh what else... Skaven Ninjas. Because I'm sure Moses actually lead his people out of Egypt by throwing shurikan at the Pharoah.
I could probably think of some more stuff but yeah I guess this is enough.
Edit: I guess I should also make sure that your earlier info about 12 clans is false. There's 4 Great Clans and like a great bunch of minor clans, even the wiki link you sent us names off 14 Warlord clans. https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Skaven Actually sources 33 Warlord clans.
Now if you were talking about Seats there's actuall 13, 12 being the number that the mundane clans can sit/acquire and the 13th seat always being for the Great Horned Rat.
There's also no clan itself that is made up of Grey Seers, maybe some clans produce more Grey Seers than others but that's beside the point. Again if you were refering to a seat then yes the 1st seat is usually reserved for the Grandseer, but he can come from any of the clans, since Grey Seers are just Albino rats born and given up to the Priesthood.
Yes. But don't worry, we'll be seeing some (Banned) in this thread soon.
And mesoamericans weren't known for riding around on dinosaurs or floating on magical palanquins were they? If you look at any race closely you will find inconsistences with their real world counterparts. But the core inspiration for the Skaven is undeniably Jewish for reasons I have already given.
That is true. Right away I noticed that the Lizardmen were similar to the mayans/aztecs and thats why I played them first. The culture is interesting to me. But then again, aren't they all inspired by some living race / nation / group of people?
The skaven thing I had no idea.
Plus a lot of factions hate a lot of factions. No bodies likes Green Skins, or Undead, or Dark Elves, or Chaos. Lol

Same. They are my favorite non-human race to play as. I really like their connection to nature, and how it feels like they have the bigger picture in mind when compared to the squabbling warmbloods. The slann are really cool and I like their lore.
Old Ones, and by association Lizardmen as a whole were always trying to Terraform the land to fit their own needs. Add to the that that the Old Ones doomed an uncountable amount of species to their deaths either indirectly (By shifting continents/moving the entire planet closer to the sun) but also directly (By deciding if a species was fit to be part of their plan or not, and sicking armies of Saurus on them to eradicate them). I wouldn't really say they were "intuned" with nature.
Atleast Wood Elves have a symbiotic relationship with Athel Loren, in that they defend the woods when it's winter, and the woods help them defend during the other seasons. The best that can be said for Lizardmen is that they tolerate the carniverous plants that inhabit their jungles solely because it's a means of defense. I doubt the Lizards help the plants, they just happen to be there and weren't actively targetted by "The Plan"
12 or 13, however you want to count it, it still works since Israel had both 12 and 13 tribes because the tribe of Joseph later slip into Ephraim and Manasseh. Since the middle ages people have caricatured Jews as rats. You think it's just a total coincidence that there are so many similarities? What about blood sacrifice refered to as common in the wiki? That doesn't sound at all like blood libel to you?
