Playing as skaven vrs army of monsters is the easyist fight ever. Your normal army comp should include 4 warp lightning cannons any way and if this is a problem for you all the time you should have 8 of them instead. its not like skaven are weak to monsters or anything, they have some of hte best anti-large in the game.
ahem "its not like skaven are weak to monsters or anything" I think you find skaven inf is some of the weakest in the game with bad learder ship and crappy mass, not going to argue about it, it just fact. When i play online battle I always go cav and moster heavy to fight skaven as it work really well on them. Your right about spaming warp cannons but its just boaring haveing to make really unbalanced armys that are not good at siege battles because the 4 or more cannons are usless in a siege other then knocking towers down.
Thanks for the reply tho :D
Is it too hard to ask for balanced armies to fight?
The skaven are not weak to monsters or anything though. Yea their infantry sucks but that has nothing to do with it lol. What your looking for are small units that can counter large and skaven dont have that, what they do have is large that heavly counter large.
No one said skaven are weak to monsters lol, its not like the have a faction trait stating weak to moster, I said there inf is pants and have bad leard ship (which does make them weak to facing off 8 or more Very Larger Monster by dint of being so crappy.) But as Erikkustrife said its not just an issues with skaven (but they have a hard time of it with there pants inf). I wouldn't mind facing of one arm like that. the first time I was like "no way, this should be a interesting battle." Now I board of it.

No, you can use your existing campaign. You'll still have a few weird armies roaming around until some of their units die off or the whole army does, but any new armies the AI builds will be better.
or if i can suggest you you can try this mods to http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1149625355
the AI would make more interesting choice in they army roster and make your campaign more interesting
Thanks guys :D big help
You're welcome!
I noticed that when I removed the AI army caps the AI is just ridiculously OP. Orcs are spamming big unz (not a big issue) or black orcs that just eat artillery fire, but combined with pump wagons, 2 hydras, 4 wyverns, and even idolz.... like wtf. When the AI has the ability to spam top tier units and its barely turn 40 you are simply trying to hold on. When the AI can do this with literally every army and assemble 3 full stacks in nearly as many turns... it just isn't fun. Conversely, enforcing army caps ends up with more balance from what I saw. It's not that it is easier, it's simply more balanced as the AI cannot spam its ridiculous cheat codes across the board, which we all know is simply infuriating.
As a player, everything that can be done to put you at a disadvantage is done, while the AI simply ignores most everything. Public order, who cares. Attrition damage, who cares. Multiple enemies in its path but it still was unoposed as it came across the other end of the map to attack only you with multiple stacks...who cares.
I have to say, having gotten back in to this game, I will certainly not be investing in the third game. Without the addition of mods the game is either easy to the point of 1 army can win the game, or you are punished simply for playing while everyone else follows zero rules, and that's really the crux of the issue. The game has a multitude of rules, but as a player, you are the only one that needs to follow them. That's not the kind of disadvantage that makes anything fun.
At least you have the ability to revive dead units...
