Giving up territory
I really would like to abandon completely or give territory to other factions so I can get rid of settlements in area's that are controlled by allies that I just dont want to bother with, is there a mod that enables this? Searching hasnt really yielded anything.

Like how you used to be able to trade/demand territory in Rome: Total War?

That would be nice, TWW was my first TW game though so I didnt know about the previous games.

Right now I have a single sub settlement that I used as a staging area to help my allies, now its surrounded by allies and I dont want to fight them to gain control of the region(why would I after busting my nuts to help them). I can still trade with them if I dont have it and I imagine it would be helpful to them if they could issue commandments so id like to give it up or give it to them.

Well if public order goes down eventually there will be a rebellion. If it keeps going up, then just leave it as it is. Either some enemy takes it, then you can raze it, or eventually your alliance will break and then you can take the whole province.

unfortunetly the ai is litterally coded to be racist to humans, so treat all non human player alliances as a temporary thing. Because more often then not it will blow up in your face, if you are insistant upon forging alliances then do not make ones with empires bigger then you, they will become fat with profits and then raid your ♥♥♥♥ the moment you ignore them for long enough.

Against humans? Don't make me laugh. How about greenskins if you are talking prejudice. Baseline without modifiers the only one not at war with greenskins due to great oower and aversion is khemri. They have no penalties for some reason.

I think he meant human players, not races/factions.

Anyways, no mod I know of. It would be good for co-op, since sometimes, quests have made you take a co-op city. I think they got a safety net now, though, with changing the quest then. It would feel a little odd in Warhammer, being able to trade land, but in some instances, with certain factions, I'd take it as a valid option.

The conspiracy theorist in me says, that they are planning to give a trade land option to a specific future faction, as a distinctive feature. Maybe a horde faction, that can give territory to an ally or an NPC faction, that builds stuff for them, that is never able to break the treaty, but you remaining a horde. Some kind of symbiosis-playstyle, so to say.

Sounds like that could work for Dogs-of-war.

You'd be working for other factions for pay, and any land you conquer you'd prolly hand over to them.

Human players. Gotcha. Maybe edit that to "players"? Moving on.

I will

Eventually

But not now, not while I can gorge myself on wine and jewels and wood and fur brought from far lands. Only when the bones of my enemies are naught but dust will I come for those who hoisted their tankards high in honor of our friendship. As the last toast of victory is raised my axe rise and
as the tankards fall empty to the table my axe fall upon their lands.

Empty the world shall be of those who thought themselves my equal.

(also imma call warhammer peacemallet from now on)
