How To Use 'Damage Building' Hero Action
What is the best use of damage building? At first I tried to use it on garrison/wall buildings but it didn't do anything to stop those units being present in the siege which follows. The AI almost always just rebuilds it over the turn break with no impact.

So what's the point of it? Unlike assaulting units/garrisons or damaging walls it doesn't seem to be that useful?

If I'm using it wrong, please clarify!

There are two skills: Damage building and damage walls.

Damage building has very limited use. The only time it's useful is for damaging AI's recruitment buildings. On Legendary difficulty, the AI can spam so many units per turn and damage building works to counteract that. Still, it's quite a bad invest of points.

Damage wall has a bit more utility. It creates breaches in the wall during siege battle. This is a nice skill if you don't want to build towers or don't have access to siege weapons.

I usually pick up the damage wall skill and don't bother with the damage building skill.

Damage building skill seems more intended to annoy the player, not hinder the AI.

You might also check the % chances for it though - if it has a good chance of success it might be worth spamming mainly to level up the hero quickly.

Oh yes, I'm finding it useful for my liche priest to level up, but it seems to do little, as mentioned.

Damage walls though is pretty fantastic, especially for races with poor siege weapons or none like the VCs.

I was just curious if I was missing something, seems not, so thank you for your tips! :)

multiple heroes attacking the same building during the same turn should be able to eliminate that building.

Yes, I'd be so happy to see 2 heroes blazing a trail through my settlements deleting my tier 5 buildings while I'm on the other side of the map fighting. Get out of here with that.

That's the big problem here- any major improvement to this ability will mess up the human player much more than it might benefit them.

You can damage economy buildings to lower the enemie's income for example.

“damage building” is broadly useless, although you can use it to level up heroes

“damage walls” does what it says, it makes attacking walled settlements easier but it’s a bit random

Edit this is fine, necromancers are great too
