they all have different styles of play (well maybe both the dark/high elf are a bit the same style of play)
but no one can say they used the same unit models
in warhammer they might only have 4 races but they have more differences in these 4 than all the factions in thrones of britania
High elves 2 lords
Dark elves 2 lords
Skaven 3 lords. Ones a free dlc.
Lizard men 2 lords.
The tomb kings are paid dlc and give you 4/5 lords and are playable in the warhammer 2 campaign the vortex.
The first warhammer factions are only usable in the mortal empires dlc. Which is basically both the first and second game combined!
Good man, real men have beards, not pointy ears.
WH1 is also on sale for 15$, so you might as well get that and give it a shot. You can always get WH2 in the upcoming Summer sale and have all the races in Mortal Empires later.
You now get 3 High Elf Lords without having to purchase anything.
