Dark Elves Torture Pit Upgrades missing

Before I could upgrade them to Fighting Pit etc, now however all I can make is the +4 torture pit, I checked the notes and couldnt find anything about it. I started a new Mortal Empires without any mods to check if it was mods and again same problem.

anyone else having this issue cause its a really problem for my public order now.

Can anyone just quickly make a new game in mortal empires as Dark Elves and let me know if this is just me or the bug after new update

Its working as intended.

Not every Legendary Lord has the same building chains.
Go ahead and check the other Legendary Lords for the Dark Elves.
You will see that Morathi, Hellebron and the other guy are all differrent.

Patch notes didn't mention deleting these buildings from Malekith's Dark Elves and the hammer over torture posts appears like it would be possible to upgrade

Did you start a new game? Its likely the patch doesnt work on old saves.

Works fine for me, started new campaigns as both Malekith and Hellebron, Vortex and Mortal Empires, and the full building chain is present (Morathi replaces it with the cult of pleasure building chain).

The old buildings have basically been replaced by new ones that allow recruitment of Sisters of Slaughter. So, these are new campaigns you're looking at, yes? It wouldn't surprise me if the change borked old saves.

I had the exact same problem with my Malekith vortex campaign. I started 2 more fresh campaigns as well on vortex and ME to check, same issue persists. After the patch I can't upgrade my torture pits just like the OP. I am going to assume it's because I don't have the new queen and crone DLC yet and you guys posting above do.

I'd say it's a bug they unintentionally made being that you get sisters of slaughter, etc from these buildings which you need the DLC for now. However if you don't have the DLC you can't even build the buildings themselves anymore.

I'm shelving my DE campaign until a fix or the DLC goes on sale.

Yep, not alone. Same issue for me as Drackn, Gleaves and Wolf. I assumed it was a mod issue but just a DLC bug. I think Wolf is right about the reason. I'm using a mod that removes the increased penalty to public order on higher levels to compensate for the lack of a building level upgrade. Works well enough; I usually swap PO buildings to something more usefull once province is stable anyways.

Ive had alook on the workshop for the same type of mod, what one are you using because I am honestly struggling to find a useful one. Thanks.

Also worth mentioning is that with this bug, the +4 Torture Pits you can build are actually only providing +1 bonus, which compounds the problem even more. Hopefully they will fix this soon. Or I could break down and buy all the DLCs for it to run correctly...sigh.
