Why?? This is so sad. I mean I played the campaig, that was sad but I dont get how no one jumps into multi. Its so fascinating... Its such a pity that everyone does pve here...

Theres a thriving pvp scene... You talking about head to head campaign? It's actually a terrible experience imo, battles are playable.

Total War just isn't inherently a multiplayer game. A lot of FPSs and even some RTSs are multiplayer games with a campaign but Total War is a singleplayer game with some PvP side mode. That said, there is a dedicated TW PvP fanbase and Warhammer II's multiplayer is absolutely not empty.

Seems to me that multiplayer campaign is tough to do with strangers. No one wants to coordinate a 40 hour campaign schedule with someone else. Which is why the battles are where the action is.


I would think that if I had a buddy irl who palyed the game I could maybe do that with them. But never someone I don't already know.

you talking about lobby or quick battle? Sometimes lobby can be a little empty depending on hours, but there's usually always a quick battle.

I'm sure you can totally find people looking to battle online if you look hard enough. I'm sure some people will even take you up here on Steam if you just made a thread about that instead of complaining about not being able to do that.

if you have any mods enabled, you won't find anyone in MP.

Not exactly, they just need to have same mods enabled But considering how many mods here... Basically it's vanilla or total conversions only, otherwise chances to find opponent is too small.

I remember mine one and only MP match in TW:S2. It were my first match I faced veteran who ate me alive. I have no intent of diving into MP and meeting veterans who will obliterate me in 100 first matches. Let veterans fight weterans and cook in their own sauce. I have around 20 Lords/Scenarios I want to try out before giving them fun. And when I win these 20 scenarios/campaigns I will be a little less fun to fight online. ;)

I don't play MP battles much myself, but it seems like Warhammer streamers I've tuned into don't have much issue finding multiplayer matches doing quick play.
