Is Terror better than Fear?
As Grimgor Ironhide you can choose a skill that grants him the ''Fear'' attribute, now that's great and all, but putting another Skill Point into this part of his Skill Tree will replace the ''Fear'' attribute into the ''Terror'' attribute.
So my question is, is it worth it?
Is Terror better than Fear?

Atl least in the boardgame it is a lot better.

Fear can cause debuffs... terror can cause instant routs, as well as debuffs... so yes, terror is considerably better.

I think Terror is a constant leadership debuff.

Fear is constant leadership debuff. Terror, used at the right time, especially with a charge from behind, can make enemy units rout for a certain time period.

Depend on you , if you control him often , yes Terror is better . but if you forget him all the time fear is better .

imo Grimgor is too slow to show the real power of terror .

Oh right you are.
VC cavalry and chariots are great ay applying Terror. Cast the vampire spell that causes Terror on Hexwraiths and then surprise flank the enemy through forest, they route almost immediately.
I truly wish he just had both, i mean you spend 2 Skill Points.

vs the AI, Terror is only useful on Hard/Very Hard battle difficulty... in MP, Terror is certainly useful.

On Grimgor, I'd say it's not worth to spend a skill point to cause terror (and it isn't worth to spend one to cause fear, either, tbh).

Silly billy... Hexwraiths cause terror anyway... that's a waste, you can't double up on it. Much better to use a leadership debuff spell on the enemy.

Also, one more point worth mentioning on fear and terror is that if you cause fear, you're immune to the effects of fear. If you cause terror, you are then immune to the effects of that AND fear.

I can't recall if Grimgor gets the 'immune to psychology' trait because he's a black orc, but it's still worth knowing.

He's immune to psychology :)

As far as TT goes, terror is the top of tier of psychology. Fear and terror do essentially the same thing but....

A unit that causes fear, is immune to fear but is still effected by terror.

A unit that causes terror is immune to fear and terror.

This is also how it works in TWW, but the effects of fear / terror are somewhat different to TT.

Yes terror is better then fear i think it has a higher penalty count to enemy's morale atleast it seems so when my spider charges in and everything runs away from it

Its why its always good to have a lord or units with "immune to psychology"
Both just be scared men of the empire

Need some sort of person to marshal the men perhaps >.>
