is your data folder read/only or some ♥♥♥♥ ?
are the mods showing up in data folder ?
have you wiped everymod from there and re-add them 1 by 1 ?
Yes, when I right click on the data folder properties, the read only box is checked, but it's the same for all of the data folders for my Total War games, and their mods work fine.
Yes, mods show up in data folder. Can see the PNG and PACK files.
Yep, wiped every mod. Unsubscribed all mods, made sure they're no longer in data folder, and then resubscribed to 4 simple mods to see if they're working in-game. They're not.
Also cleared cache. Checked file integrity. Updated drivers. Even made sure windows is updated.
Don't know what else to do.
If other's are having similar problems, you can find Kaedrin's mod launcher here:
https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/211385/new-mod-manager-for-warhammer-2-released
Is there a Mac version for Kaedrin's mod launcher?
Mods are no longer saved in the data folder.
Each one gets to have its own folder in the steam folder / content
I'm having the same problem and just opened your thread to read about it. Gonna try this out now. Nobody should have trouble for applying mods in a game like Total War
You're telling me we have to move each individual mod from the content folder to the data folder? I haven't played TW WH in a few months.
No its automatic. The game knows where to look for each mod. Unless of course its a mod created by yourself and that and only that is saved on data folder
