Destroy own city
Any way to destroy my own city ?
When making confederations i get settlements with poor conditions and its not worth keeping them anyway, however sicne i can't really afford building something out it and the public order is going to ♥♥♥♥ they always rebel against me.
I guess there really isn't a way to get rid of those settlements ?

Abandon them and let the rebels destroy them. About the only way currently that I know of. Might be a mod out there since the community framework has allowed for all manner of wild things. Never looked though.

Why? Just let them rebel if you don't want to take the time to maintain them. This is even better since you've spawned a hostile faction in your neighbor's territory, which is almost NEVER bad.

Except if you are dwarfs and you get a grudge to reclaim that settlement

If you are taking settlements you don't intend to keep, you are not Dorfing correctly.

I accidentally occupied Fort Oblast as dwarves. I misclicked, while Kislev owns the rest if the territory up there and they're strong military allies to me. I had no interest in owning this single, pointless settlement for myself. But even taxing it and with no structures, getting +5 public order per turn. So... I've just resigned myself to owning this settlement pointlessly.

you can raid your own territoy to increase the public disorder, then let the rebels take it, ask your ally to retake it.

Don't forget to demo any public order or obedience raising building too. Really though there is no harm to occupying a territory that isn't giving you much so far as I can see. Just don't bother defending it or building it up and either it will become a stable source of a little income for you or some rebels will show up and take it. Then you can smash them and raze it or sack it over and over because they probably won't defend it properly

Totally wish they will bring back the raze mechanic in this game.
