How to Access Free DLC?

I can't seem to access any of the original Warhammer free DLC (a-la Bretonnia or Isabella von Carstein). I claim content while in game, and it doesn't work.

I hit download on the Steam Store, but it keeps trying to download the original Warhammer. Do I really need to download an entire 40GB game in order to access the content in this one?

For it to register, yea. After that you can uninstall it.

Hmm odd. I just have Warhammer 2 installed and i can play both of those factions in the ME campaign.

But maybe red is right. I uninstalled Warhammer 1 after 2 was installed and i played for a bit so maybe thats it.

Yeah Im pretty sure for all FLC you have to of had it installed in warhammer 1..

you need buy warhammer 1 and "buy" the free dlc from warhammer 1. Then you should have it in warhammer 2 too. You don't need to install it. Best, make a question on the support

I saw someone say that verifying the second game made it figure out they owned all of the game 1 content so it would appear in ME. May work for you too?

Heres how to do it

1 Close Warhammer 2

2 Go to the Warhammer 1 Store page ( Make sure you have Warhammer 1 BOUGHT in your Steam account )

3 Go to the DLC you want

4 Press Install on the DLC

5 Cancel ( You dont need to start the download )

6 The DLC should now be Playable and added in Warhammer 2.

Probably restart Steam after Step 5 or Verify Warhammer 2 data

thats how i did it with Uninstalled Warhammer 1 and the free DLC
