Still bu#lshit.
Why u no shooting thru your own army? I know a game where the ratlinggunners doenst give a f#ck about its allys.
Can understand if its stormvermin but... slaverats/clanrats? Cmon.
Between the questions about misfiring and this, can't the Skaven just have one good thing?
I know right? I had <skavenslaves> taking on the enemy line and they still wouldn't shoot through them. Dudes, seriously? They're literally designed slash bred <to be shot through>.
In multiplayer? Never really saw them, and doubt I'd see more now with ratling gunners.
The globadiers were always niche. In older campaigns I'd rather just have more artillery than the glob throwers.
I could allow a ratling gun to fire at my troops before dealing with it, but when playing against skaven, I'll never ever allow DGG to reach their range of fire. Those things can decimate important units in a matter of seconds. Especially agaisnt high elves where being above or below half health makes a huge difference, death globes can shut down elite infantry so well it's crazy. Of course they're always going to be focused due to that so I bet they'll never fire in MP, but hey.
it's really close of it though, one reason being that their LoS requierement will force them to move regularly, so actually keeping enemies in LoS long enough to deplete the regenerating ammo is , from my experience at least, never happening.
