Me and friend can't play games together
He's on mac with no DLC and i'm on windows with all DLC

but we should be on the same version, yet for some reason we aren't

I don't know how many of the DLC's are available on mac but I'm pretty sure the latest one is not yet available. So you have content in your game that he doesn't so you have different versions.

we checked today and the new lizardman v skaven dlc has been released

Warhammer I & II are nto cross plattform. Windows users cant paly with AMC users or Linux Users. The Others cant do this either.
Both need to have the same OS to be able to paly together.

You can only play with Mac - maybe Linux, I think.

Mac cant paly with linux as it would be cross platforms again which is not possible.

I don't want to be the one having to break it to you, but it was already made clear, that Windows and Mac/Linux have no cross-platform.

Luckily i have no mac user friends. :) Although i have no friends... But i think having a mac user friend would be worse.
