Warhammer is a satire of fantasy, so everything is over-the-top and ridiculous (and as a result, fun), which gives this whole franchise its entertainment value.
Berserk is a serious story that explores some very deep philosophical matters through the eyes of its characters, which are very well written. Entertaining, but not fun.
So in terms of 'messed up', Warhammer throws so many obnoxious enemies at you that it can be overwhelming and invites despair. Berserk, however, messes with some complex topics that they alone can invite despair, not to mention the grueling ordeals the main character is forced to confront.
Both IPs are from different mediums, so their own personal 'grim-darkness' come from somewhat different intentions. However, let's take into account that a video game like Dark Souls was heavily influenced by Berserk. Now imagine a Warhammer single-player RPG, (made with the same budget and effort as Dark Souls). If I had to pick a world that was more messed up, I'd go with Dark Souls until you encountered the Daemons of Chaos for the Warhammer game.
Then I would say it is an even match-up.
Sorry, I was bored and wanted to kill time with this
Or horse
Might I introduce you to our old friend Slaanesh?
Well not quite topping what you said, but look in to Morghur's lore.
"Born almost three centuries ago, the creature known as Morghur was far from a human child. With tooth and horn, he ripped his mother apart in his gory entrance to the world, "
Saying that, Warhammer has moments that can match, but it is never as consistent nor as wide spread.
This. People are commenting that the world is a horrible place from the comfort of their climate controlled house while using one of the greatest inventions of all time that the majority of the world has access too.
I don't know what A and E is. Also I've been in several war zones and have seen plenty of suffering and I still stand by my statement. Comparing modern living to living in medieval times as being worse is objectively false.
Edit: I did some research. I assume A and E is a emergency room type situation. That really just helps prove my point. Not a whole lot of medieval emergency rooms where you get expert medical care.
Tomb Kings I think would be pretty chill, as long as you obey your new immortal overlord.
I don´t -think- you´d even have to die, though it might be a tempting option as your new boss probably isn´t too into farming or the keeping of livestock.
Skaven. Just end yourself, it´s better than the Skaven, the lucky ones´ll be eaten immediatly, the rest would get to experience Skaven slavery, and if you think they´re nasty to slaves of their own kind, imagine what fun they´ll have with non-Skaven slaves!

Oh, and canopic jars are filled with organs as part of a mumification ritual, they might well be harvested from enemies, and people willingly embracing the Khemri way of unlife, but I don´t -think- they use conquered civilians for jars.
Well, Arkhan probably does... But the other ones are more interested in ruling than wanton butchery.
Warhammer is a darker Middle-Earth, it's certainly crappy but you can live just fine in it. Not to mention you have the Human, Elf, Dwarf alliance that occurs when things get really ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
In the Berserk world, things are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ most everyone lives with the demons of the setting for protection from everything else. As far as a big good, the only thing like that is the Fae Queen. God is literally evil in Berserk as it is formed from the human desire for their suffering to have meaning.
The Warhammer world were originally -way- darker, not Berserk-dark, but darker, Warhammer started as a pretty edgy paper & pen roleplaying system, were you pretty much started in the gutter, and bloody well stayed there.
One interesting example I remember is the fact that Fimir (who were way more common then) and beastmen, almost exclusively procreated via... Non-consensual, forceful copulation with human women.
But yeah, written by edgy nerds, for edgy nerds, but as it became a tabletop system, and that tabletop system became really popular and started attracting a wider crowd, such things were toned down, then quietly removed.
Not a loss in my opinion, but a bit of a curious anecdote I thought befitting the discussion.
No offence but you must be joking if you think what you see in the emergency room is worse than living in a world where whole cities being raped to death/eaten alive like you see in Berserk(and in Warhammer when Beastmen are around). You can see plenty of the disgusting ♥♥♥♥ our fellow humans commit, by going to places like liveleak or the many gore sites out there, it still doesn't hold a candle to actually being just a regular human in either of the two universes.
As for the original question: i think Berserk is much worse. In Warhammer there's still hope that good might triumph, you still have the High Elves, the Dawi, Bretonnia and the Empire that are, to varying degrees, beacons of good that try to oppose the darkness. In Berserk the evil has more or less won, it's just taking it's time and toying with it's prey.
