Lore question about Tyrion

So i was reading end times lore on wiki and then i saw Tyrion on the side of Chaos ( Tyrion, sword of Khaine) my question is what happened there becouse he doesnt seems like someone who would betray high elves.

The other question is not really important for me but im still curious. Lore says that Queek is the best fighter skaven has but then i was reading that the is very skillfull and very feared among others Deathmaster Snitch so i was wondering .... could Snitch prove skaven wrong that Queek is their best fighter by killing him one on one?

Snitch is a assassin in a one on one fight queek wins, but snitch wont make it a fair fight.

As for tyrion on the side of chaos, he went mental after his daughter died to bring back nagash and his own brother betrayed him. He became the avatar of khaine, the elven god of murder, so yhea he became a bad guy. But that is the end times, which had some stupid stories.

To my knowledge Tyrion throws a fit when Malakith becomes king and hooks up with Arielle. Though i don't know the lore that much though i could be wrong. But generally yeah end times make characters do things way out of their character for the luls i beleive

Tyrion found out Teclis was involved with the death of his illegitimate daughter to resurrect Nagash. All part of a greater scheme to save the world from Chaos, but Tyrion didn't exactly see it that way. He also took the news of Malekith actually being the legitimate Phoenix King pretty bad, and a lot of the high elves including his brother ended up verifying the story and siding with Malekith.

Snitch is obviously supremely skilled, but in many cases an elite warrior who has most experience fighting somebody face to face is going to beat someone who's experience fighting is mostly killing somebody without being seen/retaliated against in a 1v1 duel scenario. Queek has a better stat line for combat in the tabletop game than Snitch as well.

tbh I would also think that the other side are the bad guys if they realy believe that darth vader, the guy who killed/raped milions of his people and who is resposible for the war of the beard is the true ruler of me

End times is the professional wrestling of Warhammer: It's not supposed to make sense, but make it possible for every faction to fight every other faction, with sides changing every day. This bypasses the previous rules of WHFB where who you allied with in a battle had some semblance of logic. Now? ::shrugs arms in disgust::

If you couldn't already tell, if you want to take Warhammer "seriously", you shouldn't even bother reading or following End Times lore. There were reasons that GW made End Times, and none of it had anything to do with the actual Warhammer story and lore.

Anyone who gives a crap about Warhammer Fantasy pretends the End Times didn't happen. It is a classic example of what happens when you tell writers "This has to happen, I really don't care how it happens, just make it happen."

So many issues with the End Times you should just ignore it.

Such as the fact the Skaven steamrolled 75% of the Warhammer world and factions but then decided not to do the same to Chaos despite having the means too.

Meh, End Times was great for seeing characters actually die.
I'm tired of the wishy washy stagnant lore of 40k, for exemple, where playable characters never die. When they fight other named characters in the lore it either ends up in a draw, or with the loser fleeing, or injured but not too much.
Fantasy was the exact same before the End Times, and gosh is it annoying to see the world revolving around the axis of "selling stuff so no shaking up of the status quo".
