The sacrifice mechanic is tedious
Why the hell are we only able to be award 50 sacrifices for every battle meanwhile it takes thousands fully get through it for the regiments and the final ability and the damn bonuses are temporary

There's a mod for that!

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1721121531

and yes, it's tedious and stupid as heck, 50 sacrifices no matter how many Skaven you killed (even thirty Skaven will produce fifty sacrifices. Do you sacrifice them twice? :P), and just generally absurd, not to mention the buffs are by and large trash (some really good ones, but mostly trash)

which was why I made that mod :p

I don't get why you expect anything more from it. You get bonuses. They are great. They come at no opportunity cost whatsoever.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh idk maybe because this isnt a free update and compared to what ikit gets as a new faction its weak and boring.

Ikit is stupidly OP and should have never happened specifically for this reason: it skews people's expectations of what lords should do. Terribly so.
Sacrifices to Sotek are super great for what they are.

The sacrifices could be a bit more interesting. The last one is especially meh, lord kroak literally does more for less work.

The system is still kind of meh. Yes tenhuin is suppose to be a challenge lord, and I did have fun in his campaign, but that doesn't excuse the system for being a bit boring.

Is Mazdamundi boring? Kroq-Gar?

I mean, Tehenman is jsut the same as these two guys - with mechanics added on top! He is literally the most mechanically complex lord the lizardmen has.

The way I see it, the sacrifices are a luxury. He would be an excellent lord totally without it, just the start position and skink preferences alone makes him interesting. Then he gets sacrifices for no additional cost on top of that.

They suck with the exception of a couple: the +public order, +growth, +replenishment.

The other ones? 100 sacrifices for +5 leadership to Skinks? What an absolute waste.

Those three are suuuper strong though. The early combat buffs for skinks make red crescents good enough to dominate the early game imo.

they really don't, the lack of any shield means Skink Cohort w/ Javelins are just a superior unit :p

Well, I did not mean to downplay the other skinks in any way. Since the sacrifices cover them as well, they benefit just the same.
