how to recruit grombrindal as Karak kadrin?

I confederated with dwarves but not sure how to get him.

You have to wait till the dwarves have him, if he's there he will be in the forces list as a wounded lord.

This is true. If you see all LL from Fraction X then its time to conferderate! And watch out that they arent dead when you conferderate because SOMETIMES you dont get them

I'm not sure this is true. I once confederated the counts as Vlad before he had ghorst and kemmler back then. They were both available

What you have to do now is trigger a Dwarfs faction rebellion in The Silver Road province (ideally you want to have an enemy faction, like the Greenskins, take over a minor settlement to make this easier) and ensure that it succeeds. A few turns after the rebels capture the settlement, Grombrindral should show up, being a Legendary Lord and thus better than whatever rebel lord was randomly generated.

You can then get on with confederating them again.
