Whats the strongest high elf factions?

Lothern usually but it really depends how the fights around Ulthuan turn out. If they take a big hit at some point they can end up confederated while they're weak, I've seen most of the HE factions become dominant some time or another.

Lothern usually is number one strength. Almost never seen another Elf-Faction on top that consistently

Hmm i am playing Lothern, i thought Avelorn (or however its spelt) might have been second

nagarythe is pretty decent with that additional unit and stance

Ah you should have said you were playing HE. If you're intent on picking an ally then Avelorn is a reasonable choice, you'll likely confederate them all at some point anyway

For fun it's nice to keep Nagarythe alive and kicking, without help they tend to get slapped about and they're by far the most interesting High Elves. They won't help you much with the other HE's though, they have their hands full with the Dark Elves.

If YOU are a High Elf, Teclis or Nagarythe is your best ally because they can colonize climates you can't, ensuring global pan-elf supremacy!

woops i should have said that lol, yeah im HE too. too bad i cant confederate with them too, wont allow you unless you have the DLC for it

Alith Anar is the only cool High Elf, he's also a combat monster.

Averlorn, Nagarythe, and loremasters (in order of usefulness) are the best to ally with. Most of the other high elfs on ulthuan either hate you, you'd want to kill anyway, or are going to get killed by chaos or pirates.
