Undercity Skaven Question
How can i create Undercity WITHOUT destroying ( Detection by enemy etc. )?? i just started to play this game after long break and this is new aspect of game ( for me ) .

Without them detecting it? By building the hiding buildings.

But the first "infiltration" just to create undercity , if this city/settlement is owned by enemy, is there any way to dig my undercity without fight ?

The yellow coloured buildings improve your detection status.

But you just said "without detection", detection has nothing to do with it. You send an engineer there. It has a cooldown and costs you a bit of money.

Edit: For absolute clearance.

The Skaven Engineer hero has to be sent to an enemy city. There he can then establich an Under-City, that costs you cash and can not be done again, until the cooldown has passed. The cooldown should be displayed next to your money.

Both. But the rite one will make it start with a unique building.

Yeah I just came back after some time off and had the same question. Here's what helped me.

1. You can use engineers to create undercities without the AI knowing about it . You don't have to be at war.

2. Once undercity is established you can build buildings that produce gold, food or other benefits.

3. Most buildings will increase your detection chance and when the red bar on the side fills to the top, the AI will destroy the UC. I haven't seen them ever discover and then not do anything about the UC

4. There is a hiding tree that has a total of 3 buildings in 2 building trees. You can build both trees in the same undercity and the bonuses will stack. Meaning that the detection chance will go down and even into the negative depending on what else you have built or are building.

5. My usual undercity building tree has been: 200 gold building (20% building if it's rich), food building, 5% spread building, and the -40 discovery building. If I wanted to build up to the vermintide or the nuke tree, I stack both hiding trees and build the vermintide/nuke tree and nothing else. I'm thinking of maybe specializing my UC down the line and only have food or gold UCs. But that's part the strategy you'll need to figure out yourself.

Support tier. Research improves it, but it's no match for an actual well-setup army.

Multiple turns of free upkeep can be really good for a bunch more armies though in a pinch.

I have had multiple undercities not destroyed despite being discovered

Havent tried vermintide building yet. Guess I'll test that on Lothern or something.

AI only bothers with destroying if they see you building the dangerous stuff (doomsphere or vermintide).
