No no, Vermintide One is part of Warhammer 2, and Vermintide 2 is part of Three Kingdoms. Vermintide 3 is going to be part of Warhammer 1, and Vermintide: The Pre-Sequel is going to be part of Warhammer 3's DLC pack.

Your question is missing something. What makes you say Vermintide 2 has anything to do with the WH 1 or 2 (the games, not the setting of course)?

The Vermintide videogame series and Total War: Warhammer are both based on the old Warhammer Fantasy Battles tabletop game distributed by Games Workshop. While both series are based on the Warhammer license they were developed and published by different companies, so no, Vermintide is not directly connected to the TW series.

kk yea ive been wondering how much of original WH is here

Im not a big fan of original, kind of meh myself towards it, but i do know the original has a big following....and i really like this TW version as going Asian kind of bored me :/....just not my genre taste

no not really at some point maybe the heroes in vermintide took part with their respective races to defend/expand their territories at some point like total war.
but vermintide really doesnt have much to do with this game other than near enough the same timeline it being the end times n such and being in the warhammer universe

vermintide is just bout 4-5 people living in a keep somewhere eastish of helmgart by the looks
and they go out and usually to make a lot of noise and trouble so that the others in the shadows can find out more information about skittergate and the like etc etc

Warhammer 1 and 2 is a semi cannon retcon of end times that serves as entertaiment whilst allowing players to make the game how THEY wanted the story to end (as opposed to end times which messed up almost everything from bretonnias Lady of the Lake suddenly being an elven God all the way up to Gelt Being killed by Manfred because Manfred was a whiney brat now. And thats just the controversial stuff... you dont even wanna know about them trying to tie 40k into all this)

So yea. Both Fun, neither Cannon, the latter sort of a retcon that gives warhammer fantasy fans hope for each of their beloved factions and stories and gives attention to some little known factions like vamirates.
